I had a blast writing music for Rift of the Necrodancer, because it’s a musical Rhythm Game inspired by some of my favorites in the genre, like Rhythm Heaven and Guitar Hero. And also because the folks at Brace Yourself Games are awesome to work with.
For the pieces of music I wrote, I put a lot of focus on compelling rhythms and catchy melodies that will both challenge the players and keep them dancing while they play, which is especially important as this game is super hard!
