I’ve been watching Anime and listening to their music for most of my life.
So when Idle Slayer‘s developer asked me if I could write some music for the game’s official collaboration with Kodansha, the publishers of Attack on Titan, I simply had to answer the call.

The task here was writing a piece of music that would fit the style of Attack on Titan and that also represents Idle Slayer at the same time, in a way that both studios, and that the fans of those IPs would approve of.
I did so by studying Linked Horizon‘s iconic anime openings and trying to take a stab a that style! It taught me a lot about how Japanese composers approach writing epic music.
