For my contribution, I wrote a remix of the Waterfall Stage theme.
While I didn’t play the original game, I empathize with the idea of playing a remake of a game from your childhood and being enveloped by nostalgia. I knew that’s the kind of experience Contra: Operation Galuga would be to many players!
That’s why with my remix, I tried to respect the original by writing it with the same intense tempo and feel as the original version from the ’80s, featuring some of the chiptune sounds from the era together with modern ones.
